Preparatory course for the knowledge test
OPTIMAL PREPARATION FOR THE KNOWLEDGE TEST
In our preparatory course on the way to successfully passing the knowledge test, we will accompany you from start to finish. With their decades of industry-specific experience, our nursing educators and nursing specialists will provide you with the specialist knowledge you need in Germany and give you helpful tips on how to achieve the learning goals and your exam goal. The theoretical and practical modules ensure a varied learning routine.
And of course we are always at your side with advice, action and time if you have any further technical or general questions!
Our educational claim
A SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL CONCEPT
The guiding principle of our teaching is practical instruction in theory and practice, specially designed for international nursing staff. The pedagogical concept we developed for this purpose focuses on action orientation. The participants of the preparatory course are taught the special requirements of German care in a detailed and memorable way in selected learning situations.
During the internship, our practical instructors provide individual support in the respective internship companies. As a result, you always have an experienced contact at your side who accompanies and ensures the transfer of theoretical knowledge into nursing practice. This also sustainably supports the activities of the practice instructors on site.
We want you to be intensively and individually prepared for the practical test!

Our preparation program at a glance
Section 1: First Block of Lessons - Duration 3 Weeks
in our premises in Hanover / Heideviertel (in the immediate vicinity of the MHH)
Section 2: first internship - duration 4 weeks
Here the first theoretical knowledge is put into practice. In order to ensure the transfer of this knowledge, there is at least one visit from our practical instructors during this time. As part of this "viewing lesson", our practical instructors work with the participant for a few hours and initiate further measures if necessary. Thus, an initial internal evaluation of the language and technical knowledge of the participants takes place at this point, during which individual support options are discussed with the participants or the institution as required
Section 3: Second Block of Lessons - Duration 3 Weeks
Section 4: Second Internship - Duration 5 Weeks
In this phase, in some cases, the practical test is already taken on site in the internship company and in consultation with our examiners.
Section 5: Third Block of Lessons - Duration 1 ½ Weeks
During this time, there is a targeted and intensive preparation for the oral examination
Oral exam and graduation

FOR A SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE TEST
This measure ends with a “knowledge test” that corresponds to the practical and oral part of the German examination for nurses. This examination is based on the provisions of the “”Training and Examination Ordinance for Nursing Professions (KrPflAPrV)””, in particular §§ 1 – 12, 14 +15.
IMPORTANT: This training and examination ordinance is still valid despite the law on the nursing professions (Nursing Professions Act – PflBG), which came into effect on January 1st, 2020, specifically for the recognition of foreign professional qualifications in nursing!
