PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

THE PREPARATION COURSE IS SUITABLE FOR YOU IF…

  • You have successfully completed training as a nurse in your home country within the EU
  • Your professional qualifications have been checked by the competent "State Office for Youth, Family and Social Affairs" in Lüneburg and you have received a so-called assessment notice
  • At the beginning of the preparatory course, you can demonstrate German language skills at least at level B1
  • You also want to reach language level B2 in the near future (see also our offer of nursing language competence tests).
  • You can prove your health and vaccinations (hepatitis B vaccination, etc.).

PROCEDURE AND CONTENT OF THE PREPARATION COURSE

The theoretical teaching units take place on our premises in Hanover. The internships are completed in our partner care facilities and clinics. In this way, you can apply what you have learned practically and with the help of your personal practical instructor. Your work will be accompanied by additional classes for one or two days. During the second internship, the practical exam is also prepared and completed. After successfully passing the practical aptitude test, you have another 1 ½ weeks to prepare for the oral test.
