The adaptation course and the subsequent examination for the recognition of foreign nursing professions is suitable for you if...

  • You are an EU or EEA citizen.
  • You can show that you have a professional qualification after completing training that is recognized in the respective EU country.
  • Your training in your home country, according to the information in the assessment notice from the state of Lower Saxony, shows only minor deviations from German nursing training.

  • You have reached a German language level of at least B1 (please also note our offer for the nursing language competence test).
  • Your health is fully guaranteed when exercising the nursing profession (e.g. hepatitis B vaccination).
  • You have a corona vaccination, which is mandated by German law for health care professionals

COMPLETE THE ADJUSTMENT MEASURE SUCCESSFULLY

In contrast to the knowledge test or aptitude test, the adaptation measure is a procedure that is individually tailored to you on the basis of the assessment notice from the state of Lower Saxony.
The point here is to precisely balance the differences specified in the notice of assessment. The measure concludes with an examination interview.
